Video taken from YouTube site http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wl6VDFaNn10&feature=related Measuring Volume by Peter Weatherall, is about how to measure the volume of liquid using the standard units in milliliters. This video is suitable for teaching a first step in a measuring volume of liquid. It is  to explain how the measurement is made. The presentation was very interesting, especially for school children in year two at primary schools.

In addition, teachers can make this video as a reference for measuring the volume of liquid to facilitate the explanation. To view this video can click on the link below or to the blog that has been provided.

This video shows how to measure liquid volume. In this video, some measuring cylinder is used to measure the volume of water. At first, the water is filled into a measuring cylinder to the 250ml level. Next to the reading of 550ml. To reach the 600ml, the water level in the measuring cylinder readings should be 600ml. Teacher explains first how to for getting the correct readings and discuss how much more water must be added. In addition, teachers also need to inform the student should be placed in the measuring cylinder is a flat surface. Moreover when the reading, make sure our eyes are on the level of the meniscus. For most of the liquid, the meniscus is the lowest level of the liquid surface. In my opinion, we can put a piece of colored paper on the back of the measuring cylinder to make it easier to read the scale.
